Dunlop Lake

Dunlop Lake is located approximately 9 km (5.6 miles) north of the City of Elliot Lake.  It is accessible from Highway 108, and is serviced by a municipal boat launch on the east end of the lake, along with a picnic area and restroom facility.  The lake also hosts marina facilities, year-round accommodations and restaurant located at Dunlop Lake Marina and Dunlop Lake Lodge respectively.

A second municipal boat launch is located off Dunlop Shores Road at about km 10.

Dunlop Lake offers a wide range of lot styles.

Slated for development are waterfront lots that will have year-round road access and hydro service.  All lots are located just minutes from the downtown business core.

Waterfront lots are “northern-sized” with lot sizes starting at 1.25 acres and ranging to over 7 acres.  Shorelines vary from 150 feet to over 780 feet leaving plenty of room for your family to play.

Currently there is one lot available through our offices. In addition, there are some private sales as well as lots for sale through Real Estate.

Dunlop Lake has a total of 45.6 km (28.5 miles) of shoreline and the area of the lake is 3.92 square miles.  The maximum depth of the lake is 49 m (160 feet).  Various shoreline features are present around the lake, ranging from steep bedrock outcrops, to low lying marshy and beach areas.
